Man will say this now and when it happens and before lighting himself up he'll say "Well thank you world! I was rooting for all people in great America to use kei cars"

Those parts cost next to nothing, the significant cost is in r&d.
If they get rid of the design aspect, Nothing will be nothing. Or perhaps yet another android phone.

I can see how much effort you put into this text. This isn't Twitter. Please don't cause useless drama.

I study music, I buy expensive equipment to learn music technology and I do not want AI music to be everywhere.
But AI music is going to be everywhere. Rather than crying over it, I prefer improving my skills so that I can give something better for the handful of people that care about real art.
February 8, 2025 at 3:05 PM
That's a very narrow saying, that I prefer AI art.
February 8, 2025 at 3:05 PM
I prefer handmade pastries, and art made by a human. But considering the human made art these days (bananas) AI art is better and cheaper.
I'll buy AI art if that's what it takes for pseudo-artists (banana people) to go out of business.

Now we eat both handmade and robot made pastries. Doesn't matter if you like it or not, this is the future. Handmade art will be expensive and rare, and AI art will be everywhere. All we need is a way to know if it's AI or not.
Meanwhile let's keep giving real artists the value they deserve.
February 8, 2025 at 2:52 PM
But art isn't edible. Art is emotional. To be real, 90% of people don't get art (not accurate information). So for someone who just wants something on a wall, AI art is fine. But for anyone looking for a human touch, buy a human made art.
But for this, every artist must say if they are using AI.
February 8, 2025 at 2:49 PM
Imagine selling a handmade pastry and a one made by a robot. The handmade one has a "human touch" value but the one made by the robot doesn't.
We went through this in the past, when bakers felt like they were going out of business due to robots making stuff cheaper and kind of 'better' (debatable).

Stephen Hawking of PCs. His brain outperformed his whole body and your gpu outperforms the whole handheld.

Another day another opera sh*t. Will be thrown into the pile of 'we don't care about this anymore' software released in the past soon.

They are just saying they were busy adding copilot buttons instead of sensible thunderbolt ports and covering up the story with seemingly faster USB-A ports.

Why the f*ck you'd need a copilot button on your nuc while you can already use the copilot key on your keyboard, copilot icon on your taskbar and the copilot button on your non-uninstallable browser?
