Maslow’s Heirarchy of Needs is a commonly accepted summarization of human needs. Control and influence determine a lot of the ways those needs are met.

No counter argument will be good enough for you when you have already closed your mind to the possibility of their being one. I could give you the lore and philosophy on it, but that’d waste both of our time. And this character limit would make it difficult.
