Nice!

(still hope you can lift the obnoxious restrictions from your Discord so I can join though)

Still hoping to see an announcement of control remapping being added to the game. And the demo being updated to reflect it.

I'd love to give the game a chance, but without the ability to actually set my controls, that's not happening.

This doesn't need anything fancy, the tools exist in-engine.

...easily the best handling of support I've seen from any major gaming storefront in years. Like it's not even a contest, they actually provide support, other options make it impossible to contact them at all, take 4+ months to reply (lookin at you, GOG), or are deliberately abusive (Steam).

The storefront is in some ways better than GOG right now.
Their launcher is trash, but at least it's not "literal health hazard" trash like Steam has been since 2019.
The lack of even an option for forums sucks for devs as much as customers in spite of being allegedly "for" devs.

But...

If you are awake, it's probably because you woke up at some point.
-_-
I'm sorry.
Only a little bit sorry, though.

More information from and about the spaces where this kind og legislation is going to be relevant? Yes please!

I hope this doesn't remain Steam exclusive. Big fan of Crying Suns (recently picked it back up after a break from playing), and this looks to have a lot of the same things I love in that game! Would be great to be able to pick it up.

But it's just an exhibition of maps, not specifically of well-designed maps, right?

Maybe it was a statement of intent...

It's an expected basic functionality even in games priced as low as 10% of your game's price point. It's been an expected basic feature in most games since the 90s.

It's kind of confusing how you're still overlooking this (and not responding to people pointing it out).
November 21, 2025 at 8:00 PM
Shame the demo (still) demonstrates that the game (still) doesn't have basic control remapping.

This is a must-have feature for all manner of reasons. Tools for providing for this are standard built-in features of the game engine you're using. Why are you not using them?

(before anyone asks, yes I am a support main)
November 21, 2025 at 1:09 PM
ok but what if you take a submissive and eager to please DPS player and turn them into an equally submissive and eager to please support main?
November 21, 2025 at 12:53 PM
Congrats! Hopefully this means there will be a downloadable version on itch.io eventually. Game's a lot of fun, but please don't make it exclusive to Steam.

The real question is, did I ever get anywhere at all? Was I heading for the exit, not realising the evil hypnotist knows where I am the whole time? Or was I just standing at attention, letting her voice guide me through a fantasy of a failed escape attempt?

(and would it matter anyway?)

As someone who enjoys both games, and is trying to get some friends to jump from one to the other (in both directions), thank you for this!

In Shinobido, there were 3 major lords in the region, and sometimes missions would take you into their castles. If you're in the castle, the lord is always there, but if you kill them and it's not during an assassination mission that changes the plot, the end mission cutscene shows they were a fake.

One of my favourite examples of a different direction was the Way of the Samurai series, and Shinobido (from a big part of the same dev team).

There are several factions you can work for, and major characters can die, which will change the course of events going forward. WotS3 had over 20 endings.
