If you've been following another deity in your spiritual journey, it is not necessary to abandon them in favor of Obscenia. In fact, you mustn't. Humans have always known Obscenia and her God-Sisters in some capacity, and the gods we have devised in our cultures are interpretations of the divines.

Sex and kink is, of course, an important aspect of Obscenia's gift of sensation. But there is so much more than that. Go out into nature and listen to the birdsongs. Feel the wind on your skin. Explore. See the majesty of the mountains. Go to art museums. Obscenia exists within all these things.

You should never ever feel ashamed of your true self. 'Cringe' is silly, childish, and bigoted. Wear bizarre clothing in public. Disobey norms. Speak your truth. Find your fellow freaks so you can have casual conversations about your 'disgusting' kinks.

I do have something important I feel I should cover, though. A good first step into Obscenia's Sisterhood is through a 'Holy Baptism'. This is a highly personal ritual in which the new sister either gathers with other Sisters or acts alone, to proclaim to Obscenia that they are ready to join her.

Activity from me is going to be low as I handle the work of uprooting my life to move several states away. Whenever I have the time, I will be putting together some sort of blogsite and simple forum for much larger, in depth descriptions and discussions of the word of Holy Obscenia.

My goal for this year and next is to establish a 'Monastery House' for those who wish to engage in Obscenism. It will be a commitment free refuge as well as a place for spiritual practice, a home for a sisterhood. It will be somewhere in Vermont.

In the eye of Holy Obscenia, there are only two 'sins'. Predation, and Subjugation. These are the dark desires that the Archons cursed her creation with. There can be no purity in a soul that cruelly takes from others or bends them to their will.
