Still actively learning the area, but Triangle Area Furries has an active Meetup and Telegram. There's also a con in Durham (Bewhiskered) in the spring, and there's recently been a couple furry raves with decent turnouts.

- Who controls access to the means of knowledge production?
- Who controls access to institutions and certifications/degrees that marks one as an expert?
- How is technical information accessed/stored/refined? Who dictates the underlying infrastructure?

hang in there. idk what your immediate situation is, but you're not facing it alone. they want us to feel isolated and helpless, but we don't stop existing just because they say so on paper. we're adaptable, and we'll build the systems if we need to. Our community isn't going anywhere.
