The Phoenix valley had several protests today, even in AJ! I was stunned when I saw that on the map. Don't know how many people it drew, because I went to Tempe and Mesa, but it was there. 🤯

Brought my camera to two #NoKings protests today. First in Tempe, and then in Mesa. The energy is incredible. People are having dance parties. They're cheerful.

Happy Indigenous Peoples' Day.
I highly recommend this book (even if you don't qualify as a "young people") We're reading it (and others) for history this year and it's eye opening. Of course I knew things were bad, but the word "bad" really doesn't begin to describe it.

I would never chase waterfalls! Raindrops however...
I was at Papago Park for portrait sessions and I went early because it had rained and I didn't want to miss my chance at raindrops. Some day I will invest in a macro lens for this kind of work.

They are fragile too. I've already managed to damage several corners.
I could go with rounded corners next time. But that costs more so I did not want to start there.

The kit from UPrinting feels more impressive. They did not send a bookmark (sad) but included fridge magnets in this giant assortment of stuffs. Plus, their kit didn't fall apart when I opened it and had small items separated into little envelopes, which was nice. #UPrinting

GotPrint sent a bookmark and also a thing labeled "hang tag" (that could easily be used as a bookmark in a smaller book), along with a ton of other stuff. I love that the business cards have the option of a colored edge. They also included a ten percent discount for my first order. #GotPrint
