A pastry in the shape of a bicycle wheel no less.

I've been fortunate enough to eat a Paris Brest whilst riding the Paris Brest Paris 😄

Not next year be because it's only run every four years.

2027, though, is another popular jaunt for cyclists: the 1200km Paris Brest Paris. I'd like to have another crack at that.

Stopping the event was sad but absolutely the right decision. I was riding through North Yorkshire when storm Floris stuck and conditions were *extremely* hazardous. Tackling the route over the Pennines could easily have resulted one or more of the 2,000+ riders getting killed.

I am one of the riders who took part in the London Edinburgh London ride in August. I can confirm that the condition of the surface of some of the roads on the route through Cambridge was absolutely shocking.

When I attempted the 1,900km "Race Around The Netherlands" a few years ago I carried about a kilo of porridge oats. I never did manage to eat of it.

But then I did manage to poison myself and fail to finish. Needed an ambulance too, you know.

You have nailed it right there.

By the way, I've been married for 35 years. And so has my wife.

I've never heard of that...

Corporate, management-level unfortunately.

However, head office is a three hour drive away. So overnight stays on a park bench are a cost-saving option for me.

You fail to mention that people also don't feel better off after 14 years of Tory government.
