The only argument to play him is in chaos specifically, but that variant has basically only gotten worse since LEDE.

Nowadays there isn’t really a serious Lightsworn variant that would even look this guy’s way. We’ve basically all decided that playing both big boys in main just isn’t worth it and the Fiendsmith and Mutiny packages many variants use give better going first and second tools anyway.

This guy’s specific brand of removal basically meant you won the game on the spot when he resolved in LEDE format, however when INFO dropped Desi being everywhere made a telegraphed nuke not great, only to get worse when his effect started reading: “Your opp wins cause they’re on Maliss.”
