I'm a luthier/guitar builder, recovering alcoholic, cancer surviving Titans fan with a wonderful woman sharing my life. Anything else you'd like to know?
My most recent acquisition (today):

No, it originally looked like this, but the body had already been sanded down when I got my hands on it. I ID'd it by the headstock logo which was luckily still there. Wish I'd have gotten it before it got scrubbed.

I mentioned previously that I was working on a 60's Kay k6868 Style Leader and that I'd post a pic when I was done. Here's how it was from the factory, how I received it and what it is like now.

Now that is right up my alley. I prefer knobs to sliders, but I'd make an exception. My old Crown (Teisco) has a green burst like this. This one isn't mine, mine is in pieces right now, but same guitar except mine is gold/green rather than black/green.

Looks like it would be WAY fun to play, being so small. I'm finding I'm having a lot of fun with some of these old vintage parlor guitars, I'm gonna have a hard time giving up this Kay when it's done.

Speaking of matching color to cars, I have a Chevy Impala edition Esteban (yes, I know, it was given to me) that usuae the Chevy SS red on a Chevy-shaped bridge. This one isn't mine, but just like it

Lol yeah, I know heavy guitars. One of my recent ones is solid walnut, weighs almost 13 lbs.

Not sure which was first, I discovered Foster, Zelazny and David Gerrold around the same time.

Oh well, I was probably on my way to hell already, might as well go in good company!

New project to work on, Guy wants it stripped and refinished. Almost a shame to do it, but there are some pretty major flaws he wants fixed.

Just finished this one up not too long ago:

Here's my most recent guitar, homage to a telecaster (kinda). Made out of an old dresser I scrounged from the side of the road.
