In Italy a lot of outskirts in the main cities are being left to themselves, with a lot people with no job abandoned and resorting to crime to survive. People there are afraid, it doesn't surprise me they vote for the people screaming about it

I disagree, people living in the outskirts (at least in Italy) see immigrants as the reason their neighbourhoods aren't safe anymore, they don't see them as their neighbours.
