#Hamnet is a soul-stirring upheaval that speaks to the multitude of ways humanity reconciles with the worst grief imaginable. Jessie Buckley is extraordinary and Paul Mescal delivers prose with such emotional weight. Jacobi Jupe is outstanding. Beautiful, yet utterly devastating.

I hear this is going to devastate me. Q&A with Chloé Zhao and Jessie Buckley to follow. #Hamnet

Yup, after my second viewing of #OneBattleAfterAnother, I’m staying strong on my 5/5 score that I haven’t given to a movie since 2022. This. Is. Cinema.

Round two. 😎

#Sirat is an unforgettable balancing act between the pursuit of paradise and the descent into Hell. A slow-burn with one of the most shocking endings of the year. A bass-thumping slow-burn that had me locked in from start to finish.
September 22, 2025 at 2:52 AM
Today‘s screening is #Sirat.
September 21, 2025 at 11:39 PM
Second screening of the day: #TheSecretAgent.
September 17, 2025 at 10:39 PM
#IfIHadLegsIdKickYou is a Safdie-esque take on motherhood, guilt, and pressures surrounding illness. Rose Byrne is a total knockout, delivering a stupendous performance. Conan O’Brien feels out of place in movie that’s otherwise a gripping & ridiculously stressful effort.
September 17, 2025 at 9:59 PM
#SentimentalValue is Joachim Trier at his most subdued. Poignant and reassuring. He and Renate Reinsve remain a dream team in this tender film about the emotional weight we assign people & memories. Stellan Skargård is a revelation.
September 17, 2025 at 9:52 PM
First of two screenings of the day is: #IfIHadLegsIdKickYou.
September 17, 2025 at 4:28 PM
Feeling a bit sentimental tonight. Now seated for #SentimentalValue — my most anticipated of the year.
September 17, 2025 at 1:43 AM
#OneBattleAfterAnother is a cinematic powerhouse firing on all cylinders. Leonardo DiCaprio & Chase Infiniti are exceptional in this hard-hitting ride. PTA delivers on white-knuckle thrills and razor-sharp comedy. This is him in top form.
September 15, 2025 at 8:56 PM
This morning’s screening is #OneBattleAfterAnother…in VISTAVISION!

#RentalFamily: A sweet and endearing tale of morality. Overly neat for its complex premise based on lies, intention, and judgment, but it ultimately succeeds as heartfelt, feel-good storytelling. Brendan Fraser is great, yet Akira Emoto is the MVP here.
September 8, 2025 at 11:15 PM
Now seated for #RentalFamily.
