Finally, when I was 18 and the varicella vax finally existed & I had to establish vaccinations to go to college, I had my titer taken and they told me I was already immune & didn’t need vax, despite having never been sick w/ it.

THEN, when I was 8 in 2nd grade, my brother then sister came down w/ it and I stayed home in quarantine for 3wk *but never got sick*

@ abt 16mo old, I was playing w/ the next door neighbor kids the day before their eldest came down with it, then the middle kid did too, but I was also still breastfeeding and Mom said I had one faint red spot on my forehead that just faded, didn’t even turn blister.

I am having chickenpox for the first time age 45 literally rn bc I am too old for initial varicella vax & titer tests always said I was immune “enough” incl one IN DEC ‘24.
