I'm a fossil, and while bands started doing deluxe versions back in the age of the CD, at least they couldn't dick around with them months after release like they do now. Having 10 slightly different versions of an album is just dumb.

My parents had no idea. Last year my sister suspected she had ADHD and started sending me memes. They felt like personal attacks 😂 a year later I'm finally diagnosed and awaiting treatment but at almost 45 years old there's work to be done and a lot of damage to undo.

My hot take: I'd say <5% of what's out there in films/TV is actually worth watching and maybe 0.1% falls into that "must see" category. Music on the other hand requires significantly less time investment for a song or even an album yet even a mid piece of music can have surprising emotional payoff.

I once stayed in a hotel in Stockholm where the bathroom was so small you could use the toilet and the shower at the same time. Incredible efficiency optimization, really.

I feel quite strongly that if dogs were able to read, they'd probably realise us humans weren't all that and form some kinda social symbiosis with maybe oragutans instead. Cora would stay with her human though I reckon.

Also neurodivergence. 15 years of failed MH treatment and not one of the many professionals I saw considered checking me for the undiagnosed ADHD it turns out was a huge factor.

George is the only one who doesn't act like a tough guy but could probably still fold most people's clothes while they were still wearing them. Plus he seems like a nice guy to spend time with after the bodies have stopped twitching.

I've actually been back over what's been said and removed my comments because I realised I'd misread Theo's post about bsky as a platform. I was too reactive earlier, took things personally when not intended, something I try to avoid being for the most part, and then doubled down with my meme post.

I'm not sure I've come across a creator / online personality who cares so much about feedback yet does so much work to alienate people who might otherwise have been tempted to join in. Someone said Google sucks and should be taken away from the techbros and you told them they needed therapy.

I could just take it as it is and leave if I don't think I've been treated fairly, or I could, in that same room, say out loud for everyone to hear "and this is why I never come here." I doubt that would do wonders for my popularity

Oof ok. Imagine this is a meatspace instead of online. A community centre with public access for example. Now imagine I walk into that space with some idea I have. The responses could land anywhere on the +ve to -ve access, yeah? Now imagine I don't like some of those responses...
