I was in cycling in bandit country yesterday. I half expected @mrjamesob to emerge from the undergrowth at one point!

I've just completed my first ever 10 mile run. Not a bad time either!

Felt really tired and demotivated this evening but forced myself into my running kit and did my second best 5k time ever, and the fastest on this route. Just shows what you can do when you're channelling the power of Meh!

I made one of my rare forays into the office today. The commute was nice though.

Just had a cracking few days away in Nottingham with my old mate @sweynseye.bsky.social. Great food, superb bike rides and a bonus meet up with fellow Phelps boy @craigvc.bsky.social

That was a much needed break for both body and head.

There is an arched bridge crossing above the path a few hundred metres ahead. Newstead Abbey in Nottinghamshire. A plate with two slices of praline parfait in a pool of chocolate sauce. It tasted even better than it looks.

I made sure I wore an appropriate shirt to the hospital today. It raised a smile from the nurses.

You're not wrong. This Leduc is absolutely gorgeous. The aviation museum near Angers in France is well worth a visit for this sort of thing.

Today's weather is cold, drizzly and grey so I brightened things up by (badly) drawing an ocean sunfish. As you do.
