I much prefer to have my orcs/hobgoblins feel like Tolkien's gribbly orcs, aesthetically. It makes them feel more complex as intelligent creatures, while still maintaining an air of grottiness and outwardly-presenting malice (whether the orc wants to present that way or not). #FantasyArt
