Sometimes I wonder why I stay in ND. The old days of Scandinavian common sense replaced by superstition and intentional ignorance. But then a neighbor shares their garden bounty, my child gets a ride home without asking, or a plate of food is shared during a difficult time. And we stay.

I genuinely don’t understand the hate for gay marriage? These are folks who just want to live their lives, pay their bills, and raise decent kids. What is the big deal? Please. Someone explain it to me like I’m a golden retriever.
