I put it up to Gone Girl 🤦🏻‍♀️. I am thinking of re-watching The Substance to take it down. It has to be something I've seen before & in English since I'm only 1/2 watching.

Probably not unique but I love the Christmas tree & always put it up on Black Friday & leave it up until a few days into the new year. I traditionally watch the same thriller when putting it up but the horror film I watch when taking it down changes.

Christmas Present from Muppets Christmas Carol.

Probably Annie. In a best case scenario, we just quietly read our favorite books the whole time.

From a fashion perspective, a pair of Pepto-Bismol pink fleece pajamas covered with silhouettes of magenta & lilac deer. They were hideous but were so cozy, I'd wear them any time I was sick. 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

Parts of Carol feel horrifying to me. There is the general threat of heteronormativity in the 1950s harming the leads/ LGBT folks of the time as well as Carol herself having to choose between raising her child & living authentically.

Also, most of Love, Actually 😂

I could see Hannibal doing a very gory yet elegant red & white themed Christmas tree decorated with intestines as garlands & small bones as ornaments. He'd be loath to part with some of his meat supply but would love doling out that type of humiliating punishment on someone who offended him.

All the final girls resolve not to end up in a life or death scenario with some creep. All the killers resolve to finally get that girl & her family/ friends.

I think a team up would be the best bet. The Mummy has the wrapping skills, Dracula makes it misty/ foggy to obscure them, the Invisible Man sneaks in to open the door, & the Wolfman + Frankenstein's monster are there carry heavy gifts.

The Thing, 30 days of night, & The Lodge all thrive on characters being isolated by the snowy environment.

For all the slasher villains, I'd get them a blade/ knife sharpener. I know he is a fantasy but he's one of my fav villains, so I'd get Sauron a beautiful jewelry box.

The original Black Christmas, Anna & The Apocalypse, Nosferatu, & The Green Knight are some of my fav horror stories set around Christmas.

I count it. It is a ghost story after all. Scrooge also has to face his own mortality & the consequences of his actions.
