Life happens when it happens. I’ve had some unexpected post operative complications that are impacting my chronic illness and possible underlying autoimmune issue so was in the hospital. No direct answers yet. Words can’t convey how grateful I am for the community around me. #chronicillness

Healing hasn’t been linear, but I’m amazed at how different I feel at two weeks out. Already being a spoonie, I’ve learned the art of pacing though I’ve still had small setbacks from over doing it. The pups are soaking up all the extra time together. #hysterectomyrecovery #puppycuddles

Surgery is right around the corner so my sibling coordinated with our friends to get me this giant highland cow stuffie to use as a back rest during recovery. He has officially been named Murray and his favorite smell is lilacs.
