On the 17th of June in Fuengirola, a day of outreach on loggerhead turtles was held for the over 65s, addressing issues such as the impact of climate change and the importance of their conservation.

Part of the team is preparing the satellite tag that the loggerhead turtle will wear when released. This tag will record its movements each time it comes to the surface, providing continuous data on its location.

Today part of the ALMA team is in Ceuta to tag one of the turtles rescued by the Centre for the Study and Conservation of Marine Fauna in Ceuta (CECAM).
