Few years back, northern California was appalled to learn the town of Weed California was on fire.
Last year, there were terrible floods in Drain Oregon.

I frequently find myself reinventing the wheel, in an attempt to learn how to make wheels. Sometimes I find myself asking people what they think of my wheel in progress, to see if I am doing it right.
The goal is not the wheel, it's the learning.
