Firstly, what the heck do you actually say in a Bio? Married for well over a decade. I don't do Dm's.
I live in the backend of beyond. I studied International Politics & Sociology.
At present I'm studying Ethnobotany, as a hobby.

In France, the bleuet de France (a blue cornflower) is the symbol of memory for, and solidarity with, veterans, victims of war, widows, and orphans. The sale of "bleuet de France" badges on 11 November and 8 May is used to finance charitable works for those causes.

On November 10, 1969, the first episode of Sesame Street aired. It’s been a 56-year journey filled with learning, laughter, love, and a little bit of fur. I hope that journey lasts forever. Happy Anniversary, gang! 💛
I watched it when I was a kid, as did my son.

Lest We Forget. The white poppy stands for three things. They represent remembrance for all victims of war, a commitment to peace and a challenge to attempts to glamorise or celebrate war.💚

The first year we got Bur Oak acorns. Big honking Bur Oak acorn and acorn cup from one of our Bur Oak trees.. That's a quarter used to give an idea of the size.
We saved some from this years crop. Hopefully they will sprout and we shall have more Bur Oaks.

"Remember, remember the 5th of November, Gunpowder, treason and plot. I see no reason why gunpowder treason should ever be forgot." Commemorates the failed Gunpowder Plot of 1605, where Guy Fawkes and his co-conspirators tried to blow up the English Parliament.

19th October 2013. First frost of the season, the Bird Bath was frozen solid this morning. Plus side the ice was in a cute sunburst shape.

If I believed in reincarnation, I would come back as a "Blue Footed Boody" This bird is so me. It's always been one of my favourite birds, since watching David Attenborough' "Life on Earth". I also still have the book. Which my Father bought me, one Xmas long time ago.

The Irish carved turnips not pumpkins. Samhain/Halloween
One of the worst smells, a candle burning inside a turnip. Not a pleasant smell. It's actually a nice wee memory of childhood. Craving a Turnip with me Da. (sans the smell of the candle burning)
