Solid points here, but claim that Christian nationalism is at odds w/ US democracy, state & values is itself “post-truth” (or wilful denial). Hegseth is extreme + dangerous but not anomalous. It’s a foundational value; long a key platform in many states. Currency: In God We Trust. Here’s Harris:

Peckham Library is just a beautiful place to write. Always busy but peaceful, inspiring in its displays and design. What a pleasure to sit serenely in a spaceship pod ‘quiet zone’, thinking silently with others on the power of words… great job, Southwark!

Looking forward to digging deeper into Klein’s (self-reflective) assessment of online self-branding as a consequence of capitalism/labour realities today that’s also monumentally destructive for the left… as I (re)build my own online persona on BlueSky(c) + watch other leftists do the same… 🫠

Klein kept quietly underscoring the necessity of robust theory for understanding social shifts. Her book’s dedication remembers others who’ve argued, demonstrated the same… Each also had an incredible capacity for empathy, which sharpened their analyses
