Look Outside (especially with it's final 2.0 update) is a masterclass and one of the best games ever made.
I would rarely describe a game as "beautiful" but that's the word that comes to mind with LO. Its heart is so big it hurts.

Random semi-depressing morning thoughts but I the thing that makes me relate to Ralsei is him battling with the idea that he doesn't actually deserve anything good happening to him due to growing up with the impression that he's owed nothing and needs to earn affection rather than get it naturally.

Even though The Hundred Line and Abiotic Factor have been taking up a lot of my time I still think that Look Outside is my definitive game of the year.
Not only is it an enjoyable and creative RPGMaker game, it manages to do something really unique and charming with such an eldritch concept.
