I think you're amazing. I am a paid subscriber. I'm not American and I don't live in the USA but I am so afraid for your country and of the consequences for the world.

My next door neighbour died from this in March. He was only 53. Such a terrible disease with 100% fatality rate .

How sad for America that the lessons learned from Watergate are now history. I blame the reality TV era. People want fights and don't care about solutions or consequences.

I do that too. It has gotten worse - even though they won, they are still spewing hatred and vitriol. My experience of these types is they are usually do-nothing people. I take comfort in that!

I'm not a big contributor but I experienced the same. It's so nice here. I've peeked at X and the hatred has grown immensely. I stay on there bc some of the people I follow remain there.

Good grief! I live in Australia and it surprises me that our medical system is brilliant comparatively. My blood thinner medications cost me $40 a month. My daughter pays the same for her epilepsy med. If u spend $2k on meds here, they're free for the rest of the year under a safety net.

Sadly, it seems that the only way to save America from itself is for these people to experience the consequences of their votes, but it wd be a long path back to democracy. Reality TV is poison and why Trump is President-elect.

It is concerning how Trump reported the meeting. Sounds like a big suck-up from Joe and Mika. If they disagree with Trump's report of the meeting, they're toast with him. If they don't disagree with Trump's report, they're toast with fans of democracy.

I am devastated, not just because I respected them but because it demonstrates the weakness within the media. Joe and Mika know that to be allowed to communicate with Trump you have to suck up to him or you'll be cut off. I'm so sad.
