Haha, I mean yes you can, but how would you do it if you could not. That's the catch

You are very close with this one, except, you can't do dict[42]. Hint: use the first key to access the value of 42

OH this is amazing read, really explains game designer point of view. Thanks for sharing! I was trying to find it again but forgot the name

For now door only. But potentially picking up items and throwing them around. With the door I just wanted player to have full control over the door opening speed and angle I guess for the emersion sake or something. Feels like an overkill tbh but I'm happy I did it

Sometimes I just get too determined for my own sake and spend too much time on something to make it just the way I want it. Needless to say it often leads to burnout and sadness :)

It's gonna be the first boss of the tutorial area

No animation, I'm going for full on door simulation with physics and everything. And I feel like I managed to make it work just now. Apparently all you need is mouse velocity and a hinge motor! But thanks for the help! And yeah, calling methods from keyframes is my favorite feature of the engine

I can fix it by making this door being possessed by an evil spirit and adding it to the lore somehow. Basically from bug to feature in one move

I did the hinge, but didn't lock it on z and x haha

Same, same...
I guess the only positive here for me is that i improved my drawing skills a lot while struggling with it all
Also thinking about making enemies and the player character in 3d, rigging them up, rendering animation frames, and drawing on top of each frame by hand
Is it too insane?
