We don't have to sacrifice the most vulnerable among us. Transgender issues are not the top concern for any major voting group. Normalizing the discrimination only serves to give people who were never going to vote Democrat anyway permission and vindication of their views to be awful.

The problem: If you give an inch and say "actually some right wing positions are correct" doesn't get you those voters - that only makes them more emboldened and makes far right positions *seem* more normal. It gives people permission to be their most awful selves.

Nonviolent yes, but also not weak and defenseless. Having some people that know how to resist inhumane military force is necessary, not to mention violence coming from state sponsored nutjobs with guns.

To clarify it's exceedingly difficult to prosecute someone for a state crime when they're a federal administrative head and not acting as a private citizen.

He had a crowd that mostly consisted of disorganized bumbling morons. They were not legitimately willing to sacrifice themselves and too small of a group to accomplish anything meaningful

It starts with one, and a convention consisting of the remaining legitimate government. Power only respects power.

Because he's in power and the DOJ isn't going to prosecute any of them. It's going to be a last day executive order.
