in fictional depictions vs reality where people are actually living things that can meaningfully consent or refuse. Even outside of depictions of CNC/rape, you can't ask a character permission. You can at best show them consenting in fiction, and even a lot of fairly vanilla nsfw doesn't do that.

It gets kind of sticky in fiction/art because consent isn't always obvious or explicit, and I imagine both CNC and fictional rape depictions probably have the potential to be very triggering. I prefer detailed tagging, especially for more intense and explicit art, but these categories break down -
