Barely above min wage!

I think it's only the bar that has the tiles. Haven't been inside for years - these were taken in 2015 (the lighting inside is poor, the best shot is the vestibule as it's lighter but reflective).

Do you mean the one in Chiswick with the fabulous, original William De Morgan tiles?

(shameless plug for WDM there)

One of my favourite films.

James' stories feel pretty timeless.

The 1970s Lawrence Gordon Clark BBC version of Lost Hearts (and others) is also excellent.

Oh dear. Please confirm you have eaten chocolate that is not USA 'chocolate'.
IMHO, these are very, very good (but the dark ones are best)

If, with the literate, I am
Impelled to try an epigram,
I never seek to take the credit;
We all assume that Oscar said it.

If you're over there again, the Treasures/Unearthed exhib at Museum of Liv. is really worth a visit too - the exhib space is very nicely done, and some amazing finds (esp Bronze Age).

Interesting. Some really wonderful works (and good etchings), some interesting connections/influences with other artists. Nice to see some old faves (Grimshaw, Moore). I liked the Terrick Williams and there are a couple of lovely Barnes Graham's.

Not enough people know about the fabulous collection at the Walker. Was there myself again this week (frowning again at the lighting on EDM's painting!) to see the Turner exhibition.

Agreed. (One vote for barm cake).
Calling that a sausage roll is like calling a Jammie Dodger covered in custard a trifle.
(and yes all trifles have custard in them, as any fool kno)
