I always love it when people get up on their high horse about this, because I do know lots of people who were Tories for decades and are now Reform and let me tell you, getting to know them is a highly instructive and helpful experience with many useful lessons. Give me a minute here.

#AmReading Orbital by Samantha Harvey and am blown away. This is so beautifully written that I keep catching myself holding my breath. There is such simplicity of language and the structure of this book makes so much sense that it's hard to belive no one thought of it sooner

It was so nice catching up with people at the Manchester OMVCS annual event today. It has become a rarity to see people in face-to-face meetings and so it was a real pleasure to see people and talk about the amazing work and partnerships happening across the city

My second favourite moment of today - Keiran from the OMVCS team getting the feedback that we have really appreciated being offered a little bit more money to cover the increase in employer's national insurance costs. There was a proper round of applause and everything

There should be a ban on broadcasters using footage of “anonymous” (heads cropped out) larger people - who could nevertheless recognise themselves based on knowing their own bodies and clothes - to illustrate stories about obesity, fat or weight loss
