Deer slander based on a totally true story. 🦌💨🦎

Two Crows in an Elevator

Just got the 2021 game Death's Door today, and after playing a bit, I couldn't help but draw something related.

Here we've got the Fledgling and Grey Crow, two little guys who reap souls. Grim business... but the game itself is kinda cute. 🪶
The scene is showing the inside of an elevator with two characters. The small space has a faux-marble floor, wood baseboards, and gold trim where they connect. The rest of the walls are a light grey. The first character is a young crow that has grey spots in its feathers. They are in an excited action pose, standing above their trusty red-bladed sword. Last 'night' was tough, but in a good way!
After I took a nap I looked back at my work, and it's abundantly clear there's leagues of room for improvement.
And that's okay. I don't regret putting time in it.

The bad vibes sometimes win out.

With the second panel, a wild 'Evil Portal of Doom' appears! With bright colors, and sounds like 'pop', 'boop', and 'whoosh' coming along with it. The third panel lets us see what crazy stuff is coming out of the portal. Beastly tentacles, sparks, and worse yet, the concepts of "Current Events", "Intrusive Thoughts", and "Work Drama". The fourth and last panel gives us the conclusion of this zany event: The Evil Portal of Doom and its overbearing qualities (and a pair of scissors) has made the fragile tightrope snap. Alas, the little lizard is see tumbling down. Sometimes the bad vibes win, but that's okay. Stay hydrated, stay grounded, and try again the next day.

If bugs give you the ick, this game would be excellent exposure therapy. (There's even a Wizard Spider, with a hat and everything!)

👀 is somebody angy?
