Good point. Hectic, Exciting, or Dynamic might be better adjectives for a cycle with several races which are open and competitive - at least in the unfortunately still closed primaries. But with RCV so that nobody wins with only a slight plurality.

I concur on both points!Williams didn't run for re-election, so I would think that was the last primary without an incumbent - not counting when Williams ran as a write-in candidate because of procedural shenanigans
