Finally got to work on the project again. Today I finished up the backend part of the dialogue. It's a conditional branching system... now to fix the frontend...

Spending an obscene amount of time thinking about interactables in my game... It's not that deep, but at the same time it's super important to game feel.

In today's episode of "Abusing my God-given right to have fingers to type code" I created a custom time system for my game. Let's me easily define and modify a time frame for things like days, weeks, months, etc and raise events when each is reached.

Playing around with a phone idea for the game. Trying to stay away from always on-screen UI, but does cramming it all in a phone work? Maybe...

Note: the icons are just ones I could find on itch io and all the "apps" refer to in-game features nothing you can do multiplayer or with RW money.

Today I wrapped up probably the easiest version my little game will have, version 0.1! Added in the basic visual theme and values to handle future systems for skills, needs, and stats!

Setting up gameplay stuff soon! Created this ObservableValue so that systems can look at things like Skills, Stats, and Needs (gonna be a Sims x Earthbound kinda game). Very useful for decoupled value listenin'.
