Can’t quite believe someone wrote a book about the MC5. I bought my copy of ‘Back In The USA’ as a cut-out for 99 cents in Carlisle,PA back in 1974 whilst accompanying my dad, who was working in the US for the summer.

A friend in the US described Nev as ‘dreadful’. I think he’s one one of the most joyous performers I’ve ever seen. The audience spends more time laughing than listening as he constantly interrupts himself mid song to explain some local reference.
