Which is wild, considering having no kings was the whole point of America. History called. It said “READ ME.”

I think this is what I've really been wrestling with the most the last 10 years about my country. Also, plays into something I read just today by Derrick Bell. I feel like each day I wake up asking myself: What can I do now? Can I even make a difference in the face of such backlash against progress?
