Always found it extremely dumb that Nintendo never gave the Joycon a proper D-Pad *just in case* someone wants to use it like this.
9 Years Later and Nintendo (somehow, miraculously) remains my least favorite console to play 2D platformers on, because 4 Buttons is not a proper D-Pad replacement.

Finished up Trails Beyond the Horizon yesterday. Easily in my top 3 Trails Games of all time now.

Moved laptops and anything work related to camp out on the floor with Myla while she recovers. If she has to stay in there for 6-8 weeks, I want her to know she isn't alone.

Update: Myla's emergency leg surgery went well. She now has 2 pins and some wire in her knee to reattach the growth plate.
She's gonna have to be crated for 6 to 8 weeks, but they said the surgery went well. Its gonna be a long set of weeks, but I'm happy she's home.

Our house was made for dogs. The time inbetween losing Rainie and saving Myla was the first time not having a dog in 18 years.

As a die hard "The Guardian Legend" fan, just wanted to say, people who claim its a Blaster Master clone are wrong for 2 reasons:
1) It plays nothing like Blaster Master at all.
2) It literally came out BEFORE Blaster Master.
Anyway The Guardian Legend rules, you should play it.

The Guardian Legend on the NES had the most daunting password system for me and my 5 year old chicken scratch handwriting.
32 characters, uppercase, lowercase, numbers and punctuation symbols. Those umlaut's ruined me.
Amazing password screen music though!

Today Rainie would have turned 2 years old. Instead, it's now been exactly one month since we lost her.
Definitely missing her hard today, but extremely grateful for the time we did have.
