Once all the outlines are done, I'll get down to coloring. Thankfully, I've already colored a few of the first pages, so it shouldn't take that much time, but still… I'm starting to wonder if the end of October isn't a bit too optimistic a deadline 🫠

Anything good about them? Well, they genuinely care about Abby and want the best for her (though Ophelia, being a cat, is more envious of Abby than Aurelia is), even if they don't truly understand her.

They stick closely to the rules and expectations that Crescent District life imposes, which is why Abby finds it harder and harder to connect with them on a deeper emotional level 🥺 That makes her, sadly, lonely even while surrounded by people (the worst kind of loneliness, imo).

Aurelia (on the left) is an Afghan Hound. Ophelia (on the right) is a Persian cat.

They're minor characters, so I haven't developed detailed backstories or specific personalities yet. But (as you can probably tell from the drawing), both are quite arrogant and elitist.
