Our Army is NOT hardware, ammunition, or systems. Our Army is the people, uniformed and civilian. People and their families. The 250th should be celebrated with those people at posts, camps, outposts, and bases worldwide. This hardware display on Saturday is not the them. 1 old soldier's thoughts

As a young Army officer I was taught walking past something wrong without fixing it was setting a new (lower) standard. The silence of so many of our elected officials is deafening and akin to walking past something that should be fixed/addressed. Dissapointing.

A friend is a newly minted GS-14 (supervisory) with over 10 years of federal service. Return to work office assignment is currently a broom closet with 'desk on order' and their afraid of losing their position/promotion. My response 'you've got to weather the storm,' it will get better .. (will it?)

I used to just tolerate MAGA 'friends,' ignoring their lies and allegiance to the DonOLD. Now I stop them in their tracks when they make a claim, I say I'd like to talk about that with you, but let's start w/ the facts. They can barely justify their position never mind cite any facts. Small steps

What if congress started a daily video (blue sky, X, podcast) summarizing the facts of what this administration did the day before and what they are planning to do. Every day, short, concise, FACTUAL - no spin. Representatives could rotate - there is 212 of them, so it shouldn't be a burden.

So OPM issued some pretty draconian guidance implementing Trump's return to work executive action. Going to be an interesting few weeks in DC.

Too frequently I wake thinking where we would be if Mitch had allowed a Garland vote, found Trump guilty at one impeachment hearing, and didn’t railroad RBG’s replacement. I believe the root cause of where we are today is Mitch. Am I alone in that thought?

When debating an issue, loyalty means giving me your honest opinion, whether you think I'll like it or not-But once a decision is made, the debate ends-Then loyalty means executing the decision as if it were your own-Colin Powell. I don't think the incoming dear leader got the memo on this one.

I told a colleague today, I don't always agree with my conservative friends but I have issue electing a man who wouldn't be able to complete a JROTC program for his lack of character, integrity, and morales.
