Found a free file cabinet on the side of the road, painted it & turned it into a little free flower stand. My thought process is to make it like a little free library, but temporary, and interchangeable. So this week it is flowers, but next week I could fill it with books & relabel it!

Educating myself on indigenous wisdom & ways. I’m so inspired! Also just finished Robin Wall Kimmerer’s The Serviceberry. These books are indispensable to this modern generation. Please, please take the time to read them!

I am embroidering a series of protest tees so I can wear one nearly every day. This is my second. My first was “resist the oligarchy, fight for freedom” I think I’ll look through protest pictures from this year & pick my favorite quotes from those ✌🏻

Started our memory quilt today. It features scraps of fabric leftover from the clothes I made my daughter & embroidery of one of my favorite “blob people” family portraits drawn by my son. These are the things anchoring me today: family, craft, & making as an act of faith🤍
