The palace of Theylora now shines Blue.

The party dispatched the seers but the flower was dying.
The queen cried out through her telepathic bond, that the palace needed a healgin touch and when the druid Blue reached up, she knit with the palace, infusing her life force into the palace and saving the day.

Then the party had to pivot to an invading force of Chyrsophids (one of many insectoid creatures in my setting).
The queen then needed their help as the Palace started to wilt.
The party rushed to the inner sanctum to find Chrysophid seers corrupting the flower.

I had a real life NPC Agatha Bramblewick helping with a witchy shop where the party could win some prizes. She also had hints tgo a Trivia quiz, that ended the games section. As the lights started to flicker and amber veins started to creep across the floor

We had costumes, in real life and in the game. An applebob, Ring the bell, Guess what it is, an archery contest and a greased pig as mini games for halloween fun

@sjohnross.bsky.social certainly my doodles have helped me to imagine my world, thanks for the recommendation :D I'm also collecting inspiration from nature. The main city, design is going to be based on a bonsai kengai cascade style with city districts being formed by the separate leaf clusters

I needed this on Wednesday when my party decided to go left when I planned for them to go right 🤣 making my own setting has made it harder to prep the world around them, but it is so creatively engaging between games!

The party skipped it by this time.

We're off to the Irredescent Court itself next time

"As the party winds along the forest path, surrounded by the scent of moss and the rustle of leaves, they come upon a sudden shift in the land. The air carries a rich, earthy tang. The ground ahead is churned and uneven — something passed through here, and not long ago."

My table ran an Ikea inspired adventure, for a one-shot, while I was away one week. This has a very similar sound to it.

Thanks Kai :) it's much more fun being proud of my gaming than hiding it from the normies. I even ran a game for my work team :D

Do you use a VTT like roll20 as well?
I find it really helps. I would guess it also depends on the game, though.

Pokemon made it to Lunchtime :D
Up next some #Minecraft for digital collaboration.

Oh no, it's fallen apart,
I'm not surprised I didn't expect their attention to hold all morning.
Next suggestion is James's " #pokemon ?"
Let's hope it holds their attention until lunch!

“Can I run #DND for James?”
YES.
Childcare became storytelling.
Chaos became magic.
How long will it last!?

It was a great session last night, a bit rail roady as I needed to get the party settled in to the setting. There were tears of laughter when Phee the small blue tiefling got a little handsy with a riding beetle if you know what I mean.
