A tip off from FL colleagues of a new Gateway path, 4L73 from Tinsley that’s booked via my local line so popped down to Bruce Grove to see it cruise thru. 66553 leads a mix of FLA lowliner twin & quintets plus some FSAs with 8’6” 20fts which enables the use of this gauge restricted line #RailFreight

Cannot remember the last time I used this platform to board/alight a train at Finsbury Park.

This was courtesy of a Thameslink unit sat on 7 with a broken window otherwise the doors never open on 6 and trains aren’t scheduled to stop on 5.

At Dover, a London-bound Javelin and a Dover-bound 375 have passed at Shakespeare Beach with Dover Harbour in the distance. A great view from above the down end of Shakespeare Cliff Tunnel.
