1 February 1942 | A Dutch Jewish girl, Betje van Delft, was born in Sappemeer.
She arrived in #Auschwitz on 10 December 1942 in a transport of 927 Jews deported from occupied Netherlands. She was murdered in the a gas chamber after selection.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.
This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.
Auschwitz took time.

a) ohne länder/kontext-kenntnis generalistische aussage treffen,
b) die in die eigene normative schublade passt und die sich dann
c) in sehr kurzer zeit als falsch darstellt

Schaut nach Georgien. Dort kämpfen die jungen Leute für die liberale Dekokratie (während hier immer noch zu viele der Putinpropaganda auf den Leim gehen).
