🧪 🫆 Well, looks like that batch of reagent is working. Latent fingermarks developed with 1,2-indanedione/zinc chloride photographed in luminescence mode. Getting the practical side of my study leave underway.

🧪 This is the latest paper from my group focussed on what we have called Frugal Forensics.
Highlights • Limited resource jurisdictions face major challenges in forensic service provision. • Frugal forensics offers a framework to address such challenges in pursuit of UN SDGs. • Turmeric spice successfully demonstrated as a fluorescent fingermark powder. • Turmeric spice is a viable, low-cost and accessible fingermark detection approach.
