Not sure how he got from "seriously considering" voting Tory (and actually voting SDP) in 1983... to *joining Labour* in 1984... I mean okay, Kinnock leaned to the centre, but he wasn't exactly a low-tax anti-immigrant Eurosceptic. Seems like all Harris wanted to do in politics was bash the lefties

Almost all of the interviewees posit gov't spending cuts as the inevitable solution. But the growth in debt has been mirrored by a massive growth in wealth for a relatively small group of people. Why does no one suggest increasing taxes for these beneficiaries? Or am I just being thick?
