That first TMC album was a revelation. Not only for the incredible musicianship of all taking part but for the covers. I’d never heard of Tim Buckley or Big Star before and went back to discover all of their amazing music. Essential.

French friends of ours went there every summer in the 70s. Looked over to it from the Biarritz lighthouse last year. Remarkably graceful for such a behemoth! The best of brutalism
