They just need to support iPadOS properly. Pretty simple, really. Having layouts for different screen resolutions in the app, targeting the correct resolution for the device being used. I've played about with this for iOS, iPadOS & Android.
I've got my "socials" now set up on my spare phone. 🫡

“zoomed”, not “a zoomed”…

I’ve tried windowed mode. Bluesky & Threads are STILL prioritising iPhone users (portrait mode). My screenshot is compatibility mode on iPadOS. If I use portrait mode on my iPad, it’s better, but still a zoomed. Lazy developers! I’m not willing to use GreySky, etc, or a browser.

Oh, and Threads has the same issue on my iPad. I think I may install this app & Threads on a reasonably large screened, spare Android phone for now.

It’s similar enough to XTwitter, that there’s no real learning curve. Pretty straightforward for me anyway. 😁

It’s more a placeholder account for now. Especially as this app doesn’t support landscape mode on my iPad (received as a gift). I end up with this horrible view. 😢👋
