Even without going to Etheria, there are a load of women to choose from who've had maybe one cartoon episode or a couple of comics over the years. In my own writing, I made an obscure pull: Lt. Dian from the 80s newspaper strips (best described as "rank of an officer, attitude of a sergeant")

I don't think so, that wasn't really a thing in syndication. Besides, if he was going to kick up a fuss about not receiving development credit, the time to do that was two years prior, when Stan Lee stole his credit for the Hulk cartoon.

Given what thee and me know about the content of this pitch, these boards feel like they were a way to distract the CBS executives and get the show approved. Get them looking at the image on the left and not the one on the right.

Umm, they did. Fairly recently.

They've also put out a Frosta, and just put out a Bow and Shadow Weaver. They've also retconned Despara into Filmation so they could have an Adora.
