I don't agree. Community involvement is how we fight back, caring about each other, creating bonds. Becoming atomised, individuated, manipulated by algorithms is how we lose.

Can housing kits be part of a community-led solution? I'm thinking of an approach where a neighbourhood takes unused land into community ownership then plonks houses on it for local people.

The point is that it's someone else's money but it's their own bonus.
