I'm a pediatrician and strong advocate for vaccination. In Sweden were I live and work, vaccination is optional and still vaccine coverage is among the highest worldwide. Abortion is legal and socially accepted yet rates are of similar magnitude (17 vs 14.4 per 1000 wy).
