At Southport-Marine, where people in the away end have been queuing for an hour to get a pint. I gave up after five minutes but others have stuck it out. One guy gets served. Ball gets thumped off the pitch. Knocks his pint over. I don’t think he’s queuing again.

Bit sad about Ghana. One of my favourite memories from AFCON earlier this year was at half time of their group game against Egypt. Unbearable pressure. One-nil up. Wandered down to the Ghana end with a fire juice of some kind and everyone was very happy. Big old party. Finished 2-2. Home early.
