I am a lifelong Lib Dem and former councillor. I thought the scheme was a grotesque failure from the start: it stopped me supporting my party for 5 years. It's time the people who helped cause the disaster start saying how they will repair the damage. @charlotte-cane-mp.bsky.social what do you say?

That's normal, isn't it?
So even though I am not happy with the tone of the debate I do acknowledge that EU commentators are in the right and UK exceptionalists are in the wrong.
It may hurt but truth is truth and that is that.
Get over it and get back in.
